I decided to hold on to post my first experience as a Birth Photographer. It really is a big deal for me so I wanted to make sure I save it for this moment. Ok so here I go...

On November 25th I received a text from my client at around 10pm saying "things are picking up, I think you should head over here". In a matter of seconds, I took my things, got in my car, drove about 50 min North from Urbana and went to photograph my first birth. I also supported this sweet family as a birth doula. I am always so humble to be a part of this monumental event with the families that decide to hire me. They were so excited to welcome their second baby in their home!

Man, I swear dreams come true! Two years ago I decided to become a doula and I started to work hard on my photography skills to become a professional photographer, specializing in birth and families. And here I am. Wow!
